Philippine Consulate in Albania is establishen on May 2nd 2016.

The Philippine Ambassador to Italy and Non-Resident Ambassador to Albania Domingo P. Nolasco administered the Oath of Office of Mr. Loritan Prespa as the new Philippine Honorary Consul in Albania.

The establishment of a Philippine Consulate in Albania will reinforce the presence of the Philippines in Tirana. This development will pave the way to enhanced bilateral relations between the Philippines and Albania. The Consulate will also bring the consular services closer to the members of the Filipino community in Tirana.

Members of the Filipino community in Albania welcomed the news with enthusiasm the establishment of the Consulate which will be a big support for them.
